After graduating from Deming High School in southern New Mexico, Ms. Wilcox attended George Washington University in Washington, D.C. where she earned a Bachelor of Arts (cum laude) in political science. After graduating from George Washington University, Ms. Wilcox returned to New Mexico and attended the University of New Mexico School of Law. Ms. Wilcox earned her Masters of Law in Taxation (“LL.M.”) from New York University, and subsequently returned to New Mexico to practice law.
Ms. Wilcox is a Board Certified Specialist in Estate Planning, Trust, and Probate Law. This involves a rigorous review process by the New Mexico Board, and only seven other attorneys are currently listed as certified specialists in this category in New Mexico.
Ms. Wilcox continues to be “AV” rated for Ethical Standards and Legal Ability by Martindale-Hubbell National Lawyers Directory (“AV” is the highest rating available). She continues to be listed in The Best Lawyers in America in the category of Tax Law and in the category of Trusts and Estates Law. Ms. Wilcox has also been honored by the Albuquerque Community Foundation, receiving the “Excellence in Charitable Gift Planning” award.
Ms. Wilcox serves on the Board of Trustees for the Albuquerque Community Foundation, and is chairing the Professional Advisor Group. Ms. Wilcox is also on the Board of the New Mexico Chapters of the Society of Financial Service Professionals and the Financial Planning Association.
Ms. Wilcox practices in the areas of estate planning, tax law, probate, estate and trust administration, charitable giving, guardianships and conservatorships, and business planning. She has lectured to financial advisors, attorneys, accountants and others on estate planning, charitable giving, planning related to qualified retirement benefits, and legal ethics.

Patricia M. Galindo is a native New Mexican. She was a member of the first graduating class from La Cueva High School, in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Ms. Galindo attended New Mexico State University and received a Bachelor of Arts in Government (Political Science). While receiving her undergraduate degree, Ms. Galindo was an intern with U.S. Senator Pete Domenici’s office. She was also chosen to participate in the prestigious Governor’s Fellowship Program under then Governor Bruce King. Ms. Galindo received her Juris Doctor at the University Of New Mexico School Of Law and was licensed to practice law in the state of New Mexico in 1997.
Ms. Galindo is a former prosecutor for the First Judicial District Attorney’s office where she appeared in Magistrate and District Courts in Santa Fe, Rio Arriba and Los Alamos counties. Ms. Galindo was also a prosecutor for the Second Judicial District Attorney’s Office, practicing in both Metropolitan and District Court in Bernalillo county. Ms. Galindo also previously worked for the Albuquerque City Council Office as a Policy Analyst.
Ms. Galindo is fluent in Spanish and volunteers her time for several community outreach legal clinics sponsored by the State Bar of New Mexico. Ms. Galindo is a member of the State Bar of New Mexico’s Committee on Women and the Legal Profession, previously serving as co-chair for four years.
For over 25 years, Ms. Galindo assisted her parents in managing three separate family-owned businesses. Through these unique experiences, Ms. Galindo has acquired a significant insight into the many intricacies and nuances of family-owned businesses. Ms. Galindo assists clients in business succession planning, as well as other business and tax planning strategies. Ms. Galindo also practices in the areas of estate planning, including wills and trusts, guardianships, conservatorships, probate, and estate and trust litigation.
